MAYBE AND ISSUE, MAYBE NOT: Loss of video signal while audio continues WHAT HAPPENED: Lost video out while audio continued. This is a somewhat odd one that I wanted to list even though I won't be able to give much more info until later today. Since I've had to do a bunch of resets in the last day and since every time I've tried I've been unable to do a menu reset because the box has refused to accept the confirming Dash command, I decided to try a GUI reset today via Slingbox while the box appears to be in a completely healthy state, just to see if it would work. I am happy to report that it worked normally this morning. After restarting, the box continued began displaying audio and video from the previous channel, CNNHD. A few minutes later I heard a story I was interested in and brough Slingplayer to the forefront only to find he message that there was no video signal detected. Audio continued, however. I tried changing channels and got audio from the new channels I tried, but still no picture. I remotely power-cycled the box but still no video signal from the Slingbox, only audio. Very odd. It occurred to me that this is probably while the housecleaner is at the house this morning and that a cable may have been dislodged, but at the same time, that has NEVER happened in years of using the same housecleaner, so I don't think that's it. It's also possible the Slingbox itself needs to be restarted. I will investigate further and report back if this remains a real issue.
