My wife is starting to complain about how many HRs I have....:nono2:
yikes!!!! over 5,000 hours of recording space. *drools all over keyboard*
So if you watch TV 7 hours a day, you have a little over 2 years of recordings with 5280 hours.
One of the reasons we have alot of DVRs with 2 TBs in them is that we use some of them as Backup DVRs in case one of our other DVRs fails we have those Recordings Backed Up or Recorded on another DVR.
That is the Main Reason we have that many DVRs with that Much Recording Capacity and also because We Can!!!
Wow, One mile of recording capability.
Once again, I don't buy the 2TB drives with the intention of filling them up. I try to keep them at about 50 to 60% full. That keeps the HRs from bogging down or being adversely affected by a full HDD. Yes, I do have that much capacity, but I try to keep it at about half the possible capacity. The HRs just run better.
