What is the average internal temp for the hr22-100. I just got one today and it is at 115 degrees. My hr20-100 is at 108.

Both of those look about right.
    My HR20-700 runs about 126

115°F is about right I think.

IIRC, the HR20-700 runs the hottest in the mid 120°s while the rest run ≈110°-120°ish

A lot will depend on the ambient conditions and airflow around it too. My HR22-100 runs about 108 F, but it's on an open shelf with at least a few inches around it on the back and both sides, and a couple inches above it open too. My HR21-700 runs around 114 F in a different (more enclosed) location, and my HR20-700 runs about 120 F on an open shelf.

Earl's comment on the internal temp of the 20-700 was 123-126 degrees or less. My 22, that lasted 3 months, ran at 99 degrees. Sure wasn't the heat that destroyed it.

These "temps" come off the hard drive, so depending on which you have, the reading will vary.
