Push came through just fine while I was sleeping... everything seems to be working this morning. More testing later this afternoon when we settle down to watch TV.

This morning....all seems well. I'm now in the habit of running the system test as one fo the first things, as well as other setup-menu tests.

    System test passes.
Sat levels all solid and still in the 90's.
Advanced / Internet, Network Services tests...all pass.
MediaShare - Photos, Music, and Video all continue to work.
Whole Home DVR Service recording done, playback seems fine.

    More testing this weekend.

So far - early testing only - the basics seem solid with this Customer Candidate CE.

Got the push register as coming at 1259 am. I wanted to see if it would push last night so I got myself engrossed in Avatar Blu Ray so I would not sit in chat room waiting and finally pull it before they got around to pushing. Initial tests are good.

My H24-700 got its push last night and all is great so far. It has worked flawless for the last few CE's so will see how this one is

    Lower...
Ya, but it's been flawless for me almost since day 1. The real test will be reports later in the week from the 4-5 folks with the HDMI handshaking issue, IMHO.

Small sample, I know, but they represent about 20% of the field test population. If that happens to equate to 20% nationally, that's probably undesirable from a support standpoint.

Also Steve, I have been flawless most of the trial until last weeks firmware when I had several issues of recordings just stopping in the middle while the counter said they were there. I am hoping that this release has cured that.

    Agree.

HDMI handshake, and a few trickplay hiccups....seem to be the only real remaining "issues" being reported....and then not by most of the field testers. But they are legit issues that hopefully are addressed - looking forward to the updated reports on those two fronts.

I have not had time today to test the HR24-100 but I hope to get plenty of time this afternoon or tomorrow. My wife asked me when we can give to HR22 in the Living room to our daughter and I thought it would be a couple of weeks before it was ready to use as a primary receiver. She laughed and told me it better get a lot better if I planned on using it as a primary receiver. She understands that we are helping it get ready for "primetime" but realizes it is somewhat unreliable. Sunday it will stay in my living room, Sunday night I'm going to put it in my bedroom and see how it works with my LG Plasma. It doesn't seem to really like my Sony.

I just installed TVeristy on my computer and got it set up. I can now say that my HR24-100 functions fine with all aspects of media share over the DECA cloud. I have looked at pictures, played a 35 minute video and am now listening to some music from iTunes that is on my computer. I have noticed that you can pause video, music and the picture slide shows. These tp features are working without issue. The only glitch I am seeing is on music, there is a brief stuttering at the beginning of each selection.

That's what I figured also. If I reported nothing, people might think ( as in the sat. co., ), I am doing nothing, which is what I am doing, but hey, no news.. I guess I CAN report on no news.

My HR24-100 is back to the pause/audio loss problem with HDMI. I am almost positive I know when it will happen, the receiver never misses a remote command until it's about to have problems. I will hit the 30skip button 5-6 times then maybe one more depending on where I end up, when the problem is about to hit it always misses that last command. Eventually the last command will catch up, if you don't get carried away and hit it a whole bunch of times while waiting. The next time you go to use FF or 30skip it is very likely to have the issue.

Boy I was really hoping to have the problem fixed. Now that it is happening again I would like to convince my wife to let me put it in the bedroom where I can hook it up to my LG via HDMI and see what happens in there.

For some reason my H24-700, when I moved it to another room, has stopped receiving some channels... Odd, The H20-100 that was there, worked fine. I am missing 240, 307, boom, cnn,a few others.. I tried resetting, and reauthorized it, to no avail.. Next??
I am still playing around with it.

Check your favorites settings...perhaps reset those and see what happens.

OK - 1 last thing...call DirecTV and have THEM do a receiver reset.

IN the past....I had 1 time that the online alone did not do the trick. If you have those channels in your package, they should be there....

Have DirecTV re-authorize them via a CSR - and keep them on the line until they come back.

A quick question, What s/w will force feed be for a H24-700? Will it be the last ce, or what is, if there is, or not, for it being so new?? Another words is there a nr for it being a brand new box. Just curious..
