I'm finally making the jump to HD and plan on ordering an HD24 box. But my big question is if the HDMI and S-video connections are both always powered? The reason I ask is that I plan on putting this in a media cabinet with the HDMI going to the HDTV in the living room, but I want to feed the s-video to an existing RF-modulator for distribution to the rest of the house. I'm hoping that both are powered so that we can watch the same show from both the living room and the bedrooms. Will this work?

    Outside...
All outputs are ALWAYS active. You can run HDMI to one Tv, Component to another, and Composite to a 3rd. All showing the same thing of course.

I use the HDMI and S-Video connections concurrently all the time.

Cool. Thanks. I was assuming that was the case, but assuming has gotten me into trouble in the past. :)
