I'm looking for a remote code to operate the HR2x on a URC-6131B00 One-for-all Remote. Has anyone found a code that at least controls the basic functions? It's for a rarely used, already-own remote.

Follow Up Question: I wonder if any of those cheap dollar store remotes would at least give me basic functions on/off and volume for a Daewo TV and channel changes for HR21. Yeah, I'm that cheap :)

Sorry, SAT code 1377 or 01377 is not in the 6131. The cheapest one it's built into is the Atlas OCAP 1056 which is plentiful on ebay for $8 shipped. It's also in some radio shack remotes (15-100, 133, 134 and 135), but they're more expensive ($20-$30).

The Atlas also has several Daewo codes, so there's a good chance it would work.

If you get the Atlas, the CBL code will probably be locked so you can't change it. To unlock it, press CBL, then SETUP for 2 blinks, then 982 (4 blinks).

Code 1377 is also in the RS 15-2200, about $15.

Hi, are you all out of URC Gamer remotes? I still have one brand new in a box.

Thanks, I'll think about it. Feel free to PM me a price. You see what I'm looking to spend (eg Dollar Store) lol. While I LOVED those Gamers, and still use one as a spare, as you may remember some of the keys just 'die' over time. I only really notice it when I'm in the guide, and wanna scroll to, say the 200s or 500s, and the 2 and 5 don't work. So then I use my workaround, the 1 and 9 are working so I go to 199 and scroll up

Now I just found another universal remote in the closet. Does anyone know if the URC-8810 can control the HR21? If so, code?

No, the only models of remote with OFA brand to have a preset for the current line directv receivers are urc-6960 kameleon, and urc-4220/3220.

The 8810 is learning, AFAIK. So just learn the commands you need.

So the URC 8810 remote is working out OK. Using the 9-7-5 command, it learned almost everything except for a few keys. Upon several attempts it won't learn: the quick-rewind, the quick FF (30 sec skip), or the left and right arrows (Back and TVapps). It learned everything else. Anyone got any hints or ideas? It's actually possible that the buttons themselves are broken/squished because the red light indicator doesn't always light up with those buttons.
