    I have the following receivers.

    2-HR24
    2-HR20
    1-HR23
    1-H25

My questions is and I am sorry if this has been asked already. Can I replace one of my HR20's with a HR34\44 and use it as an additional receiver. Would it show up in my whole home system and work just as a HR20 would with recordings and playbacks with the other receivers? It would give me 14 turners being used. I have the appropriate setup to allow that many tuners. Thanks in advance

Just make sure you don't overload one side of your SWM 16 with too many tuners.

And unlike the HR20, it can serve up to 3 WH clients simultaneously.

So up to 3 of my HR receivers can watch the same show or pull a different show off of the HR34\44 at the same time?

All three (+ local on the Genie itself) can even simultaneously watch the same recording, with independent trick play on all four boxes!
