He means HCM30 was never the name (P Smith accidentally switched the C and M around), doing a search for it will likely come up empty.

The original name was HMC30 and a search for that should come up with results. The new (and supposedly final name) is now the HR34.

Based on an article that someone posted in another thread, it appears we might not see it until 2012 [link].

The Gaydon statement makes it sound like DIRECTV has bailed on the HR34.

I can't imagine that an HR25 could be a significant departure from the HR24 and certainly nothing worth holding out for "next-generation" technology (unless they're waiting for MoCA/DECA 2.0).

    Wow!

To me that statement is more likley to mean they decided not to make an HR25 and instead are concentrating on the HR34. This kind of goes along with what we have been hearing around here. We have seen info/pics and I believe the H25 has already been released (although only for brand new installs). We have also seen the HMC30/HR34 at the last 2 CES shows. However I don't remember seeing or hearing much if anything about an HR25.

I'm guessing that they're happy with the new non thing client receivers and will now focus purely on a thin client system going forward. I think we'll start to see stuff on this in the 4th quarter this year.

Or could it mean that they were not included in the HR24's, they made a H24 but not a HR?

    Another typo.

It's now HR34. It was being called HMC30.

The HR35 thread is very interesting. That thread title should be corrected to prevent threads like this one.

Yeah I guess it didn't make much sense without explaination, The link refers to Pace, -700. I wasn't very clear and probably wrong but they didn't make any of the last round of DVR's.

You can't read posts in sequence. It was not a typo.
