Will anyone watch?
No, I've really never been into Magic, illusions or trickery
Yes, I like magic when its well done and have an interest in its history.
I'm recording it. I'm not sure it's fair to use the word trickery. That sounds more like the con artists that he fought against and exposed. Good magic is an art, particularly ones like Teller's Shadows. I've seen it in person, exquisite.
Time and Network?
Tellers shadows is the best.
History Channel (269) Monday, 1 September 14 9pm, Tuesday, 2 September 14 9pm.
It's 'Houdini', not "Hudini" and it's on channel 422 on Comcast.
History channel is 120 on Dish
Thank you! I also appreciate the channel number.
The lead is a good actor.
I'll check it out!
The New York Times reviewer wasn't too crazy about the script, but likes the cast and mentions that we can see how some of the tricks were done.
Dish channel 120. Sorry I forgot that.
No thanks, not an Adrien Brody fan.
I'm hoping the Pawn Stars tie in where Gail Blackstone sold the Harry Blackstone birdcage for a few thousand bucks was fake. That along with the light bulb are their most iconic illusions.
Nothing to lose but a little disk space. Got last night's Ep recorded. Will record Ep 2 tonight and then watch to whole thing.
I just watched and I thought that it was Adrien Brody at his best and I'm not a fan of his. Surely not after Splice.
Just watched the first session, but it seemed like a double. (I had an hour added to the orignal). Is there another one upcoming?
