Cardinals are crazy birds. There was one that used to attack the mirrors on my car on a regular basis whenever I parked in one particular area. It was a female and, I suspect, she thought that the bird in the mirror was competition.

Wow, there's quite a few hummingbirds in that first picture.

How many have you seen at once by those feeders?

BTW, just in case anybody was wondering, as a group they're called a Charm of Hummingbirds.

    Interesting. Didn't know that.

We have seen up to 10 hovering around the feeders but most fly away after the two feeders have 1 or 2 birds on them each. They take turns and constantly come back to see if the feeders are available. We really don't know how many actual birds are hanging around. My guess is about 15 or 20.

Do you have any natural food sources/plants around?

I have a few trumpet vines and some other plants that attract them. I can't figure out the one that flies into my garage when I open the overhead door though. Then it flies around in there for a few minutes before finding it's way back out.

Yes. There is a plant with flowers on it just below the feeders. It definitely helps.

    Wow, ≈10 at once. :)

I'm lucky if I see two at once. That must be quite a sight.
