Got a question about the stop band filter. I have one hr-20, r-16, hr22 in my setup. Where does the filter go? From diagrams I see I only need one coming from the power supply or do I need another one connected to the hr-20?

The R16 definitely needs a Band Stop Filter .. if the SWiM is a green label you don't need to worry about a BSF anywhere else.

    Unless the HR20 is a HR20-100.

How can I tell if it has a "green label"?

    Just look at it. :)

There should be a green label or sticker on it.

So if the swim has a green label where does the filter go?

Connect the pigtail to the SWiM port on the R16 and the Sat Line into the F-Connector on the BSF.

What is the swim port on the r-16? I though I had to connect the filter directly from the power inserter.

The SWM port is also the Sat 1 input of the receiver. Go from the SWM to the BSF to the Sat 1 input of the R16.

Does your SWM have a green label? If it does, you don't need one on the power inserter.

Just put the BSF on the Sat 1 port of your R16 then and you should be good :)
