I had to refresh the box twice to get locals (though time might have been more the issue...maybe be patient?). But welcome to the club!

I propose, BTW, that we call ourselves Blackbirds.

    HR21 Blackbird...get it??

    Congrats! :)

After a few days of pretty unstable behavior, mine has been blessed today. No lockups, no black screens, and all my recordings have been watchable. I hope I didn't curse myself - I plan to watch HD coverage of today's shuttle launch on HDNet here in about 40 minutes. :)

    You mean SR71 Blackbird?

The un-reliable, high cost maintenance, always leaking fluids spy plane they retired years ago because it never made itself too very useful?

    Let's not jinx ourselves. :)

Oh, let's be nice. Counting the A-12, YF-12A and SR-71 versions, dozens of 'em were built and they flew in operational service for about 30 years. That's not to say they weren't hangar queens, didn't leak all the time or weren't expensive, mind you. :p

jheda - great news on the locals!

    Congrats, jheda!

Let me know (either publicly or via PM) how it works with the Vizio 32. I plan on getting that TV myself when and if I get an HR21.

I have 32" Vizio in the basement. It works good. Had no issues with it.

When I had my HR21 hooked up to my 32" Vizio it looked/worked great.

I've had my Vizio for about 6 months now it's a great little TV.
