I had my D* installed two months ago and I love it so far, but I'm just looking into one additional thing (minor)...

The installer drilled through the wall of the house to get the wire in and sealed it with silicone. No big deal, but I'd like to put a wall plate on the inside so it looks nice. Unfortunately, that'll either involve me cutting the connector off so I can attach the wall plate (if I go with one that just encircles the cable) or cut the cable at the wall and attach two connections (if I use a plate that has a connection on it).

What tools do I need to do this? I have a regular electrical wire cutter and crimp tool, but I'm assuming that won't work here...
