Here are some better pictures of George. See if you can tell which ones are really him.
:rolling: Those were funny! I actually laughed at them for several minutes while ago when you had the big pics up (and not just the attachment).
I like the ones in the middle on the left. You HAVE to admit that Bush is cuter than Kerry! :whatdidid :sure:
OK you're right. My pics weren't funny. These ones are. (And so are the Kerry pics)
 Good one, Steve, but you forgot the painted on smile, as Kerry has none of his own!
okay, now that is hilarious!!!!
The liberals certainly diverted the topic on this thread quickly didn't they?
Oh, stop! Everyone's having fun.
I've heard stories about grade inflation at Ivy League schools. Seems parents don't want to shell out the big bucks for a fancy college and end up with an average graduate. I saw one statistic that said 80% of Harvard students graduate with honors. Their high C averages don't look so bad when you take that into account. They were honest Cs
I found this link on a google search for "grade inflation ivy league" along with a lot more than I thought that search would turn up. I have no idea what this group is about, but they back up my point, so what the heck. They are from Texas so they can't be too liberal.
It's another silly thread started by conservatives who are so insecure in their position they have to keep reassuring themselves continually that they are as dominating as they think they are.
Stick your head someplace dark, the rest of us are having fun.
Wow, such strong words from a man of God. I thought preachers were supposed to be welcoming and caring.
You want fun, I can post my quarter of a gig Anti Kerry/Pro Bush, graphics, photos and bumper stickers that I was planning to use to help my insecurities in my ‘Liberals Suck’ Power Point Presentation that I never got around to putting together.
Sure, go right ahead. I'm a minister, I'm just supposed to sit down and shut up like the rest of the 49% of people in this country. Go ahead, have fun anyway you want, because it is real clear that having a place where everyone is welcome is not real important here. Half the threads in this forum have been started to slam anyone who is not a true believer in George Bush. You are very close to getting rid of every person who has a tiny bit of moderation in them, and then you can have all the fun you want, and you won't even have to be interrupted by someone who wants to point out the other side to any of the issues. It can be just like AM talk radio, where there is only one side, and the host always can shout down the other side. Oh, wait, thats what it is like now.
What did I miss? So far only two people have been "gotten rid of" and I wouldn't call either of them moderate in their views, in fact, both were raving lunatics who couldn't get along with established rules, one from the fringe left and one who claimed to be a conservative.
The atheist said: Oh, stop! Everyone's having fun.
The minister said: Stick your head someplace dark, the rest of us are having fun.
Bogy, the place is obviously getting to you. My advice: take a few days off from the Potpourri forum (I do that frequently, you'll notice)
repeatedly. No more 3:00 AM posting, Bogy.
You couldn't be more wrong. I started this thread and believe me I am not an insecure person who needs to continually reassure myself on most matters. As far as worrying about the dominance of conservatives or conservative ideals, I don't spend any of my valuable time contemplating this issue.
Like I said, I found this interesting period. I found some information which lends credit to "MY" contention all along that Kerry and Bush are both relatively intelligent men pretty much on the same level. This contention was in stark contrast to the way each was portrayed by the opposition during the campaign. Maybe my tounge-in-cheek assessment got your goat, I don't know.
What I do know is that if finding some facts which in some way shape or form lend credibility to my point of view, and sharing those facts for others to do as they please with them makes me an insecure person, you my friend are the pot which calls the kettle black.
You must be listening to Air America programming to. I know what you are talking about. That Franken is a looser.
Okay, everybody slow down, take a deep breath and relax. Let's all do our Stuart Smalley daily affirmation. I'm smart enough, I'm good enough and gosh darnit, people like me!
Maybe we should start a liberal Potpourri forum and conservative potpourri forum. Then, make all members note their affiliation in their profile and make it so you can only post in your particular category.
So where do we Libertarians go?
There are at least three or four others who are either not posting at all, or on a very limited basis. Another one sent me an email yesterday saying goodbye. I'm tired of it, and the responses I got are exactly the attitute I am talking about.
By the way, other posters here comment about someones head being up their butt, sometimes in reference to me, and no says a damn thing, but heaven forbid the pastor say such a thing. That must be commented on.
