I know, but I'm just not good at stuff like that. My review would say "It's essentially a black HR20-100 with 0x168 software on it, and no ATSC tuners. The End."

I would have no problem doing it however I don't think I should since my unit is bad. Not sure what issues are related to the unit being bad or not.

I'll have more time to play tonight since the family is going to the movies and I'm sticking behind for the CE. I put together my install story yesterday so "Life after Day 1" shouldn't be too hard.

That bites... The driver that dropped off mine didn't even stick around for me to answer the door let alone get a sig.

I hear ya. The UPS/FedEx guys are fast here. You can hear the truck start to drive away after the DING but before the DONG of the doorbell. I'm surprised they don't just have some sort of catapult in the truck to chuck out the boxes as they drive by.

You are not alone..for what its worth. I was home (specifically waiting), my wife was home, my dog was home (and absolutely barks at anything and anyone who goes by our house, even something as small as a bird) and yet...

I still had to chase him down later in the day to come back. He claimed he knocked on our door before he hung an "I'll be back" tag.

I told him had he actually knocked with more than a finger (never mind which one), my dog would have barked and scared him so much I would have seen the trail back down the driveway (if you catch my yellow drift).

He just laughed, shrugged, and handed over the magic box. :D

Lesson learned...next time I hook up a motion controlled high voltage line and I guarantee I'll hear the bug zapper sound when he first touches my railing.

But Earl has done a great job tracking down the hangup and it should be on its way again soon.

    Cheers,
    Tom

Edit: And it is showing on my account now. :)

Finally (and the FEDEX guy looked exhausted) it's here!

It had both my real name and dbstalk.com username. :)

Yes, it is black, had few finger prints, the access card door was open but could be closed, and a few of the screws were already loose for me to open later. :)

    Cheers,
    Tom

I keep sitting on the porch waiting for the FedEx truck, but it just keeps driving by. :( [OH, I need to wait for the next round].
