    Edith Bunker was an unforgettable, vivid, emotionally stirring, character created by Ms. Stapleton in all 200+ episodes of "All In the Family." I know she brought the same acting skills to other parts, but it feels like a loss in my family just as it did when Carroll O'Connor died. RIP
