Does anyone know whether HBO will re-air its John Adams miniseries in HD any time soon? I had to delete my recording of the seven episodes I recorded as they premiered, but never could watch them, and now due to space constraints had to remove, unfortunately.

Well, didn't think to check the schedule on hbo.com, but they already have listings into next month, so the entire miniseries will be shown on HBO on Independence Day!

Good find, Pablo. Maybe I'll be in the mood to watch the series around the 4th.

How about posting a heads-up closer to the date.

I have never cared for any of HBO's original programming, but the John Adams mini series was fabulous. It is a must see.

I figured they would re-air it for Independence Day. As well, they should. It's a great series. Too bad non-HBO subscribers won't be able to see it on TV. I guess they could always rent it on DVD.

No exaggeration when I state this miniseries was an absolute MASTERPIECE and some of the best television I've seen in a very, very long time....

The box set is on sale this week at Best Buy for $39.99 (regularly $59.99). That's how I'd clear space off my DVR! :p

Why pay if you can watch it for free and in HD?

Well, if you don't have HBO, yes, you're right. But I guess I just sort of thought this would only be of interest to those that have HBO. The DVD has been released a while back now, hasn't it?
