Quality that is, watching Monster Garage on Discovery HD Theatre was awful last night. it's been how many months since they went to 3 channels per TP?

BTW my father was offered HD pak for 4.99 for 6 months. I was able to get the discount as well even tho I have had it for a year.

Care to explain on the HD discount for you? Why is your father paying$4.99 for the HD pack when it is free for 6 months?

Well my question is, the HD pack can be cancelled after 6 months with no penalty and then it would be completely free.

Ehren, you made it sound like your father was a new customer.

Why isn't there a DISH HD subforum? One should be added.

I hate subforums. Satellite guys wrecked their site with subforums, now browsing around there is a chore. I can understand a Dish/Voom/DirectTV forums. But having one for the 811, then another for HD, and then aother for DVRs, then another for 522, and then another for 921s. Each getting only a few posts aday.

Just keep a few, thats all I ask.

I wouldn't say it blows. One thing I'll say, I watch inHD1 and 2 alot more than
HDmovies and HDnet. I have Comcast for my HD locals. I pay the extra 4.95 to get some digital channels on Comcast, which includes these 2 channels along with DiscoveryHD and ESPNHD. I'm thinking of returning my 811 and drop the Dish HD package.

I actually like that layout - helps keep similar posts together, helps people search without getting results that don't matter. I use this:
    http://www.satelliteguys.us/forumdisplay.php?f=16
as my "home" page over there - works well for me.

Edit: The downside is that sometimes generic questions end up in a sub-forum, but sometimes the mods move them, and other times we just end up with some extra threads - but that happens all the time with the generic install questions anyway.
