You're not supposed to use dryer sheets with towels. As you say, it makes them repel water, which might be desirable in a shirt or pair of pants, but not so much in a towel.

What kills me about the dryer is the cool down part, if I could figure out a way around that, I'd save a lot of time. Still think buying an extra dryer is the only way out.

You'd think someone would have invented one by now.

I was watching a home improvement show the other day about how to install a dryer vent. The contractor was planning to go about 15' or so with the piping. Around corners, up, down, all over the place. Obviously not the ideal setup. For that the lint cleaner would be the ticket. But, I measured my flex hose and it's ~ 3' long. So yeah, it does depend on the situation. I would not have hired that contractor I saw on TV, I only watched it because it was a lot more complicated than it should have been.

Yup, doctors run on a different schedule than normal people do. Obviously, your docs don't talk to each other. Which is ridiculous, considering how quickly they can get the info they need by themselves.

Mine are a lot of fun too, and very easy on the eyes. I gotta send you a picture of one of them.

I do it as needed, just like your wife does. Problem is, I need to do it nearly every day. I folded 7 baskets full Sunday, did a load yesterday, have to do a load today and I'll have another 7 baskets to fold. And, we're going to the Circus Thursday and that will screw me up again. Just can't win.

Yeah, I used to live in a high rise and we'd do the laundry (and some other "things") late at night. Always deserted at that time.

Yup, that's why I wait and take the clothes right out and fold the clothes that the wife needs for work (can't have wrinkles) right away. It's either that or iron her wrinkled slacks and I'm not going there.

I've been looking for a place like that. Can't find one. Naturally.

I actually tried that with my leaf blower. Didn't work well with the flex pipe.

What do you use, the liquid? I've never tried that. Gotta use something, my wife can't stand clingy clothes.

Wow! The water won't even go thru my filter. Now I gotta go wash it. I looked at a new box of bounce and it says nothing about this happening. This should speed things up. Thanx.

Does anyone know if the liquids work better than the sheets or do they cause the same thing to happen?

We've had no problems using liquid Downy in our old Maytag Neptune unlike Bounce sheets. But my wife tends to keep things very clean.
