Yes indeed, folks. Don't get enough L&O? Now there's more, beginning Sunday night. From the BBCA web site:
And Dick Wolf does get credit as the creator.

Here's your chance to compare the fictional British legal system to our fictional legal system.:sure:

EDIT: Some of you "Dr. Who" fans will recognize this actress who played "Martha":

Freema Agyeman will be playing Junior Crown Prosecutor Alesha Phillips.

Some of you "Battlestar Gallactica " fans will be happy to see the actor who played Lee Adama as well.

But you have to set it probably to record repeates, because the OAD is back in 2009.

That may be true for you. But at least on our side of the fence we can set our timers for Disney, Fox and MSG! :)

I almost blind-bought this when Target had it as an exclusive, but figured eventually it would get a wider release and hopefully a cheaper price.

Now I get to sample them a bit first.

I am curious how they will adapt some of the US-unique plot points to the very different British legal system.

That said, I don't know enough about the British system to know if they screw anything up, but I assume since it was produced in Britain they wouldn't screw up their own drama about their legal system.

I did read, though, that Wolf was quite happy with this adaptation... and that he thought it would play well here in the US in normal Law & Order timeslots, so that seems like a big thumbs up to me.
