I love my 880, but I have tried and tried to program the dash button from my dtv remote to the 880 using the plus button for it. I use ota channels, plus other hd channels that use the - key, 306-1,669-1 etc.... I have tried everything with the software, and tried using the rf command where you point the remotes at each other, no luck. I was wondering what everyone with this remote did to program the - key, to a button on the 880?
    Thanks for taking the time

There's a post about it here somewhere, you have to 'learn' a new command using the old remote.

You be able to do it by clicking the Customize Buttons option for each Activity you've created for the remote in the Harmony Remote Software. I've got the plus key/button set as the dash button.

Yup so do I. Though I have an 890 Pro it should be roughly the same.

In logitech program go to Modify Settings, Modify AV Activities, Select Modify for the Activity you want to change, then select Change Behavior of Buttons.
Now under the Standard Buttons tab scroll down to the bottom and the Button named "Plus" on the Left is what your going to change. Select your DirecTV Box from the device pull down to the right of the "Plus", and then to the right of that under the "Command" column select the "-"

Click Done, and update your remote. should be good to go now.

No biggie, heck I've overlooked plenty of things while sitting there going "I know I should be able to do this....." ;)

Thanks. The dash is so small, no wonder I missed in the menu.
