Customer since 1997. Have had a few new receivers over that time.
Looking to upgrade a few more in the house.
    Looking to upgrade from
    1-Tivo (H100) (I think)
1-HD DVR (HR24-500) (Giving pixelation problems)
1-HD receiver (Will be a new add on) (Which one is the best?)

What is the best upgrade wise I should expect on each of these?
    Any suggestions?

If you want to replace the TiVo with another TiVo, it would need to be a THR22. However, based on the lack of development, I wouldn't do it unless someone doesn't want to give up the TiVo UI.

You could consider upgrading to a Genie.

H24 or H25 is best receiver, but Directv doesn't guarantee models.

DirecTV only cares about NEW BUSINESS so don't expect much-even if you were the first customer when the service started. I would look at other providers who will welcome you with open arms, new equipment for free, deep programming discounts and free installation.

I don't understand what you mean. Based on the lack of development? You wouldn't do it unless someone doesn't want to give up the tivo ui?

BTW, called today and got an offer of:
    Thr22 (upgrade for 199.99)
Genie (was promised by rep an HR44)
The add on (probably H24 or H25) I would really like a C31 client though. Any thoughts on the C31?

You should read the First Looks on this site on the TiVo and Genies. The TiVo has, IMHO, some serious lack of features....mainly it can't do MRV. HR44s are in limited release right now, so not sure the CSR can guarantee you that specific unit.

Thanks. My friend's wife isn't giving up her Tivo for ANYTHING, So we're going with genie and client for the rest of the home. She has the older silver type (sorry I don't have the model number handy.) Is that setup ok for the installer to leave her tivo as is and upgrade the hr20 downstairs to the genie? Also I just posted another question about...... What does it mean that the thr22 doesn't have ATSC? Thanks again.

The installer won't be able to leave the TiVo as is. It is not compatible with the new dish/multiswitch that is going to be put in for the Genie so it is going to need to be swapped out. It will either need to be swapped out with a client or THR22.
