Did you know this year will be the longest year of your life? Not only did we add a day (leap year) on February 29th, but tonight, will add a second to the clock (Yep, there will be a 23:59:60 on the atomic clocks tonight)...So this year is 366 days, 1 second. The longest year of your life :)

I used to do snow plowing. Had a 54 hour day once. I don't plow snow anymore.

    366 days 1 second is a tie ... 1976, 1992 and 2008 were also a leap year with a leap second.

If you're old enough to be around in 1972 there was a leap second twice (June and December) plus the leap day ... so that was the longest year of my life.

Been on the planet now since 1970... so I saw all of those longer days whether I was aware of them or not.

Longest day of my life was the journey home after completing my three combat tours in Nam. Saigon-Guam approx 6hrs. Guam-Hawaii approx 8hrs. Hawaii-San Francisco approx 6hrs. San Francisco-NYC approx 6hrs. NYC to my parents home in Connecticut 2hrs. Add to that stopovers, changing aircraft, crossing the International Dateline and various time zones.
