I lost my local HD's 2,4 & 5 on Tuesday evening for about 20 minutes. I have 2 HR20's and both were the same. I called DirecTV and they were no help. They sent a tech out and he re-aligned my Slimline dish stating it was a bit out of allignment. I checked the signal strength on 103a which I was told is where our HD locals come from. The odd number transponders show 42 to 51 and the even transponders are all in the mid 90's for signal strength. I do not know which transponder we get the feeds from but I am fairly sure it isn't one of the odd (low signal strength) ones. In any event, after reading these posts, I am convinced that DirecTV is the problem, not the dish allignment. The numbers on my signal meters for Sat 103a DID NOT change from before the allignment and after.

Oh well, it's working now and that's good. I miss any Football there will be heck to pay.

Try calling the local Premiere office and ask to get someone sooner. As long as they have a work order from D* they can do the work.

Also, ask D* for a credit to your account.

I've had the same problem twice in the last few days in the Kansas City area, and I read a post on another forum that folks in the LA area have experienced it too. Mine were out this morning before I left for work, will see if they're back on when I get home.

I didn't have a problem at all last week, but it looks like all my local HDs are just audio, no video now. Thought it was just CBS yesterday, flipped around this morning and see that everything is missing video, audio works great. In 62234, didn't check my levels yet.

What receiver do you have? Try resetting your receiver and that might take care of your problem.

HR20, I actually just had to reset it yesterday morning, I'll give it another kick when I get home tonight though and see if it helps.

If you can, try the menu reset and not the red button reset. To do that. Go to, Menu, Settings, Setup, then down to reset and hit restart receiver. Good Luck and I hope that helps.
