    Maryland,...
After 24 years, our overweight Samsung microwave oven died.
Wife will be home soon with a sleek new replacement.

If I hook this into my home network, will I be able to make the popcorn from my HR20?

Yes and if you stand directly in front of the unit and push the blue circle 3 times while turning around in place, it will also dispense Diet Coke...

Someone made this 10 years ago. Seems pretty reasonable to think we'd have networked home appliances as a pretty common thing these days.

Kinda like when I was a kid, and all of the cartoons about the future (like the year 2000) showed us all riding around in our flying cars.

I keep hearing about how networked-everything is supposed to be the "next big thing". Really funny to see how long people have been saying that. :p

Every time I see/hear about "futuristic" stuff like this I think of Conan's "In the Year 2000" bit.

^ It will keep pizza warm but the Protection Plan doesn't cover melted cheese.

You need to the use the "king" of high temp DVR's, the HR20-700.

No, that is the preferred method... microwave popcorn doesn't work.

It's not that hot!!
