Nope, won't let me. I don't have the Sports Pack so the record option doesnt show up when I try to record channel 639 :(

Every year we go through this.

There's a lot going on now with NHL, NBA & The Masters. You can't judge what's coming based on one week.

also this year we have more RSN's / part time game feeds. But at very least they can remap WGN A HD to MLB EI but they do not?

Just tested MLB.tv through the Samsung Blu ray player and I have to admit it was really good except for the buffering. But then, I turned the same game on EI and the picture absolutely blows MLB.TV away and obviously, no buffering through D*. EI wins.

The device you use and your ISP make a big difference. Watch MLB.TV on a PS3 with a good connection and the difference will not be as noticeable.

The connection I have is as good as I can get. Even if I called to up the speed I only get it by Ethernet cable. Can't happen in my house. And that's fine. I'm more old school in how I want to watch anyway.

My point being is that the PQ is not so much MLB.TV vs EI, it is more setup vs EI.

I watched mlb.tv on my LG bluray player today and picture quality was fantastic, i'm on a 20/896 Centurylink DSL connection, I would have to that the PQ was better than D at least for today

The quality on Roku seems better.
