Quick question. I recently switched from DTV to Dish. I am hoping someone can tell me what MLB teams I will receive by subscribing to the Multi-Sport Package.

With DTV's I used to get the Cubs and White Sox with my package and then by added the Sports Pack I would then receive the Brewers, Twins, Royals, and Cardinals.

Just curious if by adding the Multi-Sport Pack with Dish that I would get the same thing beings all 6 of those teams are considered my "local" teams by MLB.

    Thanks.

Generally speaking, all MLB games on the multi-sport pack are blacked out. While you should get the teams closest to you, there is no guarantee. Do all 6 teams "claim" you? To find out go here: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/subscriptions/index.jspc_id=mlb&affiliateId=mlbMENUMLBTVPR#blackout
You can enter your zip and see which teams "claim" you. Dish has a 3 hour black out window, which allows multi-sport subscribers to see the conclusion of many games.

Yes, I am "claimed" by all 6 teams, so I just wanted to be sure I would get all 6 teams with the Sports Pack like I did with DTV. I am located in Iowa.

Rotofan I live in Ia as well and we are claimed by 6 teams. The Cubs and Sox on comcast 429 should be your regional sports network, we also get the cards on FSM-and Royals and brewers like 445. If you get comcast then you will not be blacked out for the Cubs. We have never been blacked on Comcast or on the Royals and Cards and brewers networks on E and we have them for a long time. We are avid Cub fans and can't wait for the season to begin. Max.

I live in Vegas and I'm also "claimed" by six teams, but only have access to three. A friend of mine has D* and gets all six teams. Dish really has a problem with not knowing the exact rules they should be following when it comes to blackouts. For instance, Dish blacks out all spring training games, with the exception of Red Sox games for whatever reason. D* does not.

Rotofan, I live in Iowa, just west of Des Moines. Some Royals' and Cardinals' games have been blacked out. I was told one time that I couldn't watch a Royals-Indians game because the local sports affiliate in Cleveland had national rights. When I asked the guy if the Royals' broadcast crew was just there with cameras and broadcasters, doing the game, but not allowing anybody to listen to it, he said "yes, that is correct". I told him he was crazy. I rarely see Twins' games, but I do see both Chicago teams and almost all of the Brewers' games.
