    Hopper is $100 now.

New subscriber pays $200 for second hopper (first is free), current subscriber pays $100 per Hopper.

Sign up as new customer with wife's email and credit card. You'll get the best deal that way.

Tampa I was told yesterday by someone in executive resolution that for new customers the first Hopper was free and the second one is $99.00. The reason I know this is because I paid $200.00 in April when I had dish installed and she was telling me, that new installations were only being charged the $99.00 for the upgrade to the second Hopper.

Why would you need a 2nd hopper just asking?

Currently, new customers can get the second Hopper for $99. I believe this was put into effect on 8/16/2012.

Six tuners, not including PTAT. Plus you can view the dvr recording off the other Hopper.

I would say anytime you need more than one TV served, the second receiver be a Hopper. Then get Joeys for others. Even having to pay for it, I would never have one receiver for multiple TV's, no backup. You get double the tuners also, and pay the same price per month as a Joey would be.
