I have two HR24 DVR's (LIVING and BED) and one H24 (OFFICE). If I'm watching a BED dvr recording on the OFFICE box, I can't watch another BED dvr recording on the LIVING box even though nothing is being watched on the BED box.

Is that how it's supposed to work. When Directv says you can watch two things at one time per DVR, is one viewing is always tied to the DVR? I guess that makes sense, it just hadn't happened until today when I was in the living room and my wife was in the office and we both were trying to watch shows recorded in the bedroom.

I believe the sending DVR can only do one stream at a time. So what you are seeing is correct.

Correct, a DVR can only stream out to one other receiver at a time. You can still watch a recording locally on that DVR while it is streaming out to another receiver, but you can't stream to 2 different receivers at one.
