seems a little better but still not what i remembered. I coulda sworn that last time it actualy lowered the volume on the fox broadcast when chatter came over some.

Gordon's channel working well. However, someone needs to inform whomever is in control of which camera angles are being utilized that showing a driver sitting in his car is about as worthless as it gets. Jeff was making passes in heavy traffic and all they showed was him steering. Brilliant.:nono2:

yeah seems lil better on Gordon's channel but Jr's is still not great. Audio still barely louder than broadcast is and also not clear at all.

One would think that after two years of practice, , the camera control person would know to keep the angle forward. Unless the car is in first, there is no reason to keep changing the angles. I don't want to see who is behind Smoke or the dedicated driver, I want to see who is in front. I can see by the network feed who is where. Someone is having a homer moment in the control room.

gotta love how the last 20 or more laps were stuck on the camera showing the freaking driver in the car!!! least for Jr. channel it was. Last laps in race the last thing i want to see is what the driver is doing, i need to see whats in front!!!!

someone get Homer out of the control room for the next race. lol

Great ending btw, 14 just couldn't hold off the 48 there.

Yea, I said the same thing.. Kurt Bush and Kenseth didnt even try to hold him up, else I think Smoke would of had a chance.. But with everyone gettin out of his way it didnt take as long as I hoped, to get back up front.. I think when they goto double file/leaders up front restarts, it's gonna kill any pit strategy.. As even if 4 cars stay out or just take 2 tires, the guy with 4 will line up 3rd back on the inside and gobble em up pdq.. Not to mention cars who are a lap down will be 2 laps down in a hurry, restarting at the back.. Which (2 laps down) basically is the kiss of death with the luckydog rules the way they are.. Sorry to get off topic but just ramblin... Oh, and it looks like the Prelude to the Dream is not available in HD.. That's gonna be a bummer too.. Least on the "pay-per-view" order page, it's not listed or available in HD, like the other pay-per events.. Oh well, back to topic, least HotPass is good when network is in commercial..

Really would love them to get the audio right here. watching the 88 still the network audio drowns out a lot of the crew audio. some is clear but when they are talking on the network and crew at same time its hard to make out the crew(esp driver) a lot less i jack the volume up.......which is typically how i watch it anyway. lol

really seems hit and miss more than anything the more i listen to it. some times its ok some its not.

For the first time I wanted an entire race from a Hotpass channel, Tony's of course, this weekend. I have to say it wasn't bad really. I could hear everything and on a 67" TV the 2 feeds were still big enough to make things out.

Except for all the talk going on while they are in commercial, which is a lot. I'm much happier with trackpass scanner than I ever was with Hotpass.

Was Smoke pumped or what:D I was irritated with TNT. Programming was until 6:30p and they stopped Nascar at 6:15p. Had to wait until Victory Lane was on later. Was worth it.

I do keep Hotpass on with a driver I can tolerate only to watch the race during commercials.

Yeah, that kind of irk'd me too that they did that. They were alloted until 6:30 and they should have kept going until then.

I actually missed the first 1/3 of the race due to severe thunderstorms in my area and no signal. :(
