:D that is all I can say.

Listen to all four dedicated channels and this race was the worse yet. When the team audios can on, the announcers portion faded. So did the teams.

This was one of the best road races I have seen in years. Robbie Gordon didn't disappoint anyone either. This guy needs to get off the track.

Its kind of irritating that the best in car conversations are usually under caution and that is when they turn up the commercial audio and you can't hear the in car. UGH!!

Well that was fun while it lasted. What a wreck by the 24.

And I also can't stand that they mute the driver communication during cautions. But since they made it free we don't really have a leg to stand on.

I gasped when Jeff hit Hornish and the spinning just went on and on. Thankfully no one was injured badly and hopefully Jeff will heal before Bristol. Jeff's channel went to Marcos which made me happy cause he was behind Smoke. :) I held my breath for those last 21 laps with the gas issues. The post race interviews on ESPN were a riot with Smoke once again in command of the stage.

I recorded the 24 channel so I am also glad they switched to the 47. It's always so intense when your driver is in the lead and fuel could be an issue.

I am also a 24 fan I thought he was gonna be ok after the first bit of mess he got caught up in,but you just can't run that far back in these races now or you will get caught up in something. The wreck with Hornish was rough.

Lineup for MIS (points rank in parentheses)

    795 Kurt Busch (4th)
    796 Joey Logano (19th)
    797 Kevin Harvick (22nd)
    798 Dale Jr (25th)

Seems like an odd lineup. Especially since 3 of the 4 have no shot at the Chase.

Yep, I saw this late last night and had the same thoughts. What the heck was someone thinking with this lineup? Oh well, 796 will be on my tvs if just to watch the race during the commercials.

Is 796 the only channel not showing the race during the commercials? I keep seeing only a photo of Joey and no race in progress. Also hear the announcers during the team chatter more than I hear the team. Bad, again.

ETA: 4:14p someone must have read the board .... thank you.........

Fun race to attend yesterday. I thought for sure the 24 was going to steal a win after watching the 83 and 48 run hard. I was scanning the 24 and knew they were good on fuel.

And Smokes20, I will be emailing you a few pictures later this week. I took a ton of pics and will need to sort through and edit, crop, etc.

Last week, I received an insert (called Inside Directv) in with my paid bill and it had an article about the current Hotpass. In the third bullet it said "Plus, listen in on up to 13 additional drivers and their teams with Enhanced Audio channels". I paid for Hotpass last year when they had this service, but knew it was dropped for this years "free" presentation. So I decided to call DTV to see if by some slim chance it had returned. After talking to several CSR's (who knew little about Hotpass), the last CSR I talked to said that it must have been a misprint. I told him then if it was untrue it must be a "lie" and after he stuttered a bit, he kind of agreed. I find it hard to believe that a company like DTV doesn't have a crack team that verifies these things before printing.

Now comes the good news...or at least I hope so as far as I'm concerned. The CSR said that what we had last year, will return again next year. I didn't want to go into specifics with him because anything could change between now and then, but it sounded like we'd get control once again using the red and green buttons for the audio options...to include the 13 additional drivers.

Now I know that there will probably be some folks that like the free stuff and won't be willing to pay extra to go back, but I won't mind it one bit. As mentioned by others, I liked the ability of listening to the team radio during commercials because that's when alot of the talking was done so changes could be make to the car...as well as some colorful language was used in the mentioning of a fellow competitor.

I guess I'm going to have to use remote scheduling to set up 795 for my son, never would have expected that.

I guess we can't complain as much since the service is free this year, but seriously, three Hendrick drivers is a crock.
