Now that an agreement has been reached how will the billing work. Does anyone know the details and how it works. Those that had the NHL the year the season started so late, how did they charge for that?

What year did they start late? The 2005 season was just cancelled, not abbreviated.

I too would like to know when the billing will start so I can cancel LP. I just can't bring myself to hand money over to the NBA players or owners. Not at this point anyway.

You can cancel LP anytime you choose. I did about four weeks ago.

LP can be canceled anytime prior to the first game, which I guess will be Christmas Day. It's not necessary to wait until it is billed.

ok, the nba schedule has been released. some teams will be happy some not, my team sixers begins with a 6 game west trip and ends with 5 st on road.

But very happy to have basketball back,

also they condensed 66 games into 4 months, littearlly the nba teams will have lost a total of 16 regular season games plus the preseason thats all this lockout will effect.

i noticed not every team will play each other once on road and home. EX i see we play the lakers at home but not on road. Plus we won't be playing conference or divison games no more then 2 or 3 games.

Still no details about the League Pass... very curious to what they will do for their hardcore fans who endured the lockout and everything else.

You're just rewarding rich owners. Look at the SF 49ers. They want Santa Clara residents to pay more taxes to build a new stadium. I say let the rich owners pay.

My guess is, the NBA is waiting for the offical new CBA to be signed and once that happens training camps will open on Friday.

So once that happens, then expect league pass to be announced. I be shocked if they dont start taking orders next week.

I was just on the D* website and still don't see any pricing information for NBA League Pass. I would hope they wouldnt stick it to the fans with a huge price tag.

D* is only going to charge what it takes to make a profit off the package. I guess it's up to the NBA how much they think it should be and what they charge D* to carry it.

Do the owners own the arena? No. Do the owners keep all revenue associated with said arena? No. Are those games the only thing that happens in that arena? Probably not. They RENT the building or stadium as a tenant. I've never understood why people think owners should pay for an arena the city can use for many other purposes other than a sports teams games and those teams probably see not a dime or the majority of that income.
