Sure would be nice if someone could perfect wireless devices. My laptop works flawlessly when used as a wireless device, but that's the only thing that seems to. My Roku 3 sits a couple feet from my router and that's flawless, naturally. Haven't tried it farther away from the router so I can't really say anything else about its wireless capability. I've often thought about trying wireless speakers...

Yup, just don't trust them. Gotta admit the 24s are really good machines, but I have had problems with several of them. Lost four in the last year, if my memory serves me correctly. I only have two leased HRs left and I just can't bring myself to deactivate them. If I just hadn't bought all those TVs...

Probably, that kinda makes getting the HD fee taken off difficult, doesn't it?

I have a Roku LT that's 90 feet from my router and it works fine.

They don't take the HD fee off. They issue a monthly $10 credit. That same credit should be able to be issued regardless of whether you have 3 individual fees or if you have a single consolidated "Advanced DVR" fee on your monthly bill.

Yeah, I have a feeling the Roku 3 would work anywhere in the house, just haven't tried it. You ever try wireless speakers? That would really interest me.

Run away from all thoughts of simple wireless speakers as fast as you can. Such a different animal.

I have a wireless Sub. But its range is only about 10 feet.

They do if HD was added on in error based on local availability.

As for the second part, a credit can be added but the HD line item cannot be removed.

I was thinking the same thing. But, I wasn't sure whether he was joking or not.

    Winters,...
Diff strokes, diff folks.... I haven't turned on PIP since the first few weeks of testing the Genie. I much prefer to record five sporting events, and switch among them, FF through lotsa stuff. That way, I see all the good parts in full screen, and miss the bad parts almost altogether. Diff strokes, diff folks....
