I turn to ESPN2 and noticed that there are now 2 more alt. channels but they both say PPV in the EPG info. is this just the season ticket plan???

or is it PPV single out-of-market games...(would that be sweet...)

Allows regional coverage of the Women's NCAA Basketball Tournament. OOM Blackouts apply. All games usually available with Full Court.

Here is a Definition I found on Google, which will better explain what I mean by ESPN 8, 'THE OCHO' (next to the fact, there are now 8 ESPN Stations...

Now, "the ocho"... I saw it in Dodgeball, the movie with Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller. It's a parody of, obviously, ESPN. It bears the number 8 and the surname of "the ocho". Ocho is spanish for "Eight". Their motto: If it's almost a sport, we show it. It's basically a chanel where they show stuff that is deemed to be too ridiculous or worthless for the other ESPN chanels. They show from midget tossing, to squirrels water races, and even two guys slicing the hell out of each other with machetes... I have to say, the movie was pretty damn funny.

I hope everyone here knew what he was joking about without you actually looking up the reference for them ;) If so, then time to watch Dodgeball :)

People shouldn't have to watch a bad movie to get a joke.

Notre Dame basketball was apparently live on ESPN Classic last night (Wed). Guess they ran out of other channels to show the game on.

I love when they show live stuff on ESPN Classics... mostly because they call them 'Instant Classics'...
