    I'm just glad to see that they are finally announcing the new channels and they have some I want. Of course I would like to have all channels in HD and that day will come. Just hope its in my lifetime!

    The D* website is now touting 160 HD channels and has the list [link]. They are also challenging Dish to show their list of 200 HD channels that they are advertising.

    That would mean techs that are currently carrying SL3 LNBs are going to have to start carrying BOTH LNBs.

    That would be good indeed. It's better to have a slim5 than that monster dish at 95. It's a 1 dish solution for those who want internationals.

    Hate to burst D*'s bubble, but E* has had most of those channels for quite some time. There's only a handful in there that E* doesn't have, and even at that, some may be even brand new HD feeds which then E* may get sooner or later as well.

    Great News! Thanks DirecTV™!!

    I am loving the thought of watching:

    * CSN Bay Area HD
    * CSN California HD
    * Encore HD East
    * ESPNU HD
    * FSN Florida HD
    * Hallmark Channel HD
    * Hallmark Movie Channel HD
    * HBO2 East HD
    * HBO Zone HD
    * MSNBC HD
    * Showtime Beyond HD
    * Showtime Next HD
    * STARZ Cinema HD
    * STARZ In Black HD
    * TMC Xtra HD East
    * Travel Channel HD
    * WGN HD

    Now all I have to figure out is how to retire early so I can watch all the great programs to be offered in HD, along with all I have recorded that I never have enough time to watch.

    Very good news, this announcement. Also serves a purpose as to getting the negative Nancies in the Sixto threat to just STFU about how they think D12 is broken.

    Lincoln, we don't care what DISHED network has. We are DirecTV™ subscribers who enjoy what we have with Sunday Ticket, NBA League Pass and MLB extra innings.

    You could offer me $1000 cash and I would not switch to DISHED network. :hurah:

    Just like everyone else, I suspect. That's when the EPL season is over. My guess is that it will be in HD for the next season. I'm disappointed that FSC HD and FS+ HD were not included in the initial roll-out. Especially since FS+ is a premium channel @ $15/mo. already.

    That's what I'm hoping for- I wait 4-8 weeks for movies on Netflix after they are released. I would pay for this service to have any movie available at any time!!

    Nope, not a communist, just not real smart. Life's too short. If I was as upset as some of you are with ANY provider, I would have left a long time ago. Doesn't matter what my other options are. Doesn't matter what the cost. It's just TV. Get busy living or get busy dying.

    They already do. Once in a great while you get a MAS programming account in an MP4 market. They already need an SL5.

    Actually, I'm not excited about any of them, because none of them are channels I'll probably watch. But I'm happy D*'s adding more HD and that others (like you) are happy for certain channels.

    Univision is in the English language packages (I get it). Doubt that will change or will change for the HD. TFT is not in my package but a few foreign language channels are.

    Yeah, I hear ya on that, but people like me, I'm content with just the sports pack(comes with premier package), because all my teams are local teams....So, I would like to see more HD and Movie channel stuff, and I'm sure there is plenty others who couldnt care about the Sunday Ticket.....Its a great thing, for those who want it...but a good portion of DTV subscribers want HD & Premiums.
