New Look for DirecTv Access Cards

    DirecTv has put a new face on their access cards. It looks like these will all be 0027 xxxx xxxx and higher.

    Same as any other access card issued in the last 5 or so years.

    Back to topic, the card looks cool, but your never really going to see it.

    I have to say, I am kinda in this boat, we can't see them, nor will I take it out just to look at it for S&G.

    But thanks for the post.

    Really though, I don't see why it needs to be fancy. You see it when you activate a receiver, and you are supposed to send it back when you are done with it. You might see it twice in it's useful life.

    The only other times you might see it is when something is broke, and that probably isn't a good time to reinforce the DIRECTV brand in your mind.

    They should just have a simple cyclone or NDS logo on them I guess.

    Thanks. I see it's copyrighted in 2008, so it's not that new card after all ...
