Good to see Honey West and The Saint are back on weekends, though at inconvenient times, and while I can never get enough of Dobie Gillis, which moves from once a week to daily, I still don't have a DVR and so I will only get to see it when I am experiencing insomnia, which does happen now and then.

I'm also glad that Columbo and The Fugitive are retained on weekends. One problem incurred in sustaining Columbo is that since it originally ran in a "wheel" format, typically appearing only every three week in first run, it means there just aren't that many episodes and so it becomes repititive in short order.

I still find it hard to understand how they came to drop The Streets of San Francisco as soon as they did. It just had to have gotten better ratings than did many of their other action/dramas. It could be that the rights holders of some old shows hold out for more favorable terms than do others.

I love some of their shows, but I wish ch 43 here in the NY area would stay with METV FULL TIME instead of cutting to infomercials @ 10PM.

The Naked City and several of the others noted have been running on and off on RTV and Antenna TV for quite some time. They come and go out of rotation.

They seem to be using the same supply of shows on all of these stations and yet there are dozens of others that are not shown at all.

Wish there were more mystery shows from the fifties. Like Dragnet, M Squad, Racket Squad, Manhunt, 77 Sunset Strip, Bourbon Street Beat, and Ellery Queen.

There was another gumshoe half-hour show like Mickey Spillane/Mike Hammer that I can't remember the name of, that I got into by rolling skating in the background in one of their shoots on my block, but I have seen a rerun of it.

I get an OTA bible thumper channel tagged as TCT that runs the B&W version of Dragnet, Racket Squad and a few others. Unfortunately they put a big graphic on the screen.

They also have a web channel: http://www.tct.tv/newschedule.php?start=5&a=8&stitle=Internet - TCT Family
