I'm a little surprised that I can't get my directv to go set up yet or see what channels are going to be used next weekend. When do they usually have that stuff ready?

I looked and the games are out there on the schedule.
You first have to be able to see them, I have "custom2" set to view the
"Sunday NFL Ticket Channels" generally 700-725.
Then you have to shift time until Sept 12 noon (use the + 12 hours green remote button) and there they are.
    Good Luck!!

On your "To Go" question, this is what it says on the website:

"Note: A link to NFL SUNDAY TICKETâ„¢ Online will be available shortly before the first Sunday of the season on September 12.

For the NFL ST channels each week, another option is to check the DIRECTV website [link]. And on your DVR, the only games listed in the guide right now for 9/9 are the first few games. And that is due to the fact that they are using the same channels 703-708 for the US Open this weekend.

I would think most fantasy fans would want the to-go features available for the Thursday night game.

The To Go features are only available for Sunday Ticket games. In other words national games are not included, Sunday Night, Monday Night and Thursday night games are not part of Sunday Ticket and are not available on To Go.

So, to be clear, the NFL Sunday Ticket To Go software will be available shortly before next Sunday's first Sunday of football.

NFL Sunday Ticket and Sunday Ticket to go is available only for NFL Sunday Ticket games, which doesn't include Thursday, Saturday, Sunday Night or Monday Night games.

Verizon is offering a feature that will show the Thursday games on your phone.

All it does is pop up the stats on the screen when they happen. For isnstance if you are watching a Raiders game and on another channel Adrian peterson busts off a 16 yard run. If you have AD as one of your players it will shoot a pop up on the screen telling you that he broke off the run. The feature is pointless on days with only one game. If you are watching the game you will know that he broke off a run. If you are not watching it, it wouldnt pop up anyway.

Its not really that great of a feature IMHO. It doesnt really help you keep score for your team or let you know if you are winning your fantasy game. It only hold enough players for your starters on one page and another page of alternates. It doesnt tell you anything that pertains to your league. You still need to log on to your league to get any real information. You wont miss anything on the prime time games.

That feature is pretty much useless with some of your players not playing in Sunday day games.

I am also a new DTV subscriber and obviously new to Sunday Ticket. I noticed for instance that the Bears game will be on 712, 712-1 for HD, but my guide still does not even have that channel. I assume they will be adding that channel this week?

I must be missing something. 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter for several games and the RZC is still showing their halftime show...
