What model receivers do you have? H24 and HR24 do not require DECAs.

You need a DECA for each receiver in addition to the one you have.

Are the 2 "h20-700"s DVRs? I ask because the non-DVR H20 isn't MRV compatible, but if you're just missing the R in the model name, then they will work.

Yes. And to repeat what someone else stated you don't need a DECA for the HR24 DVRs as it has DECA built in.

Just to clarify, do you have a SWM-8 (rectangular box), or an 8-tuner capable SWM LNB?

The DECAs will communicate with each other via coax. The DECAs that are connected to your receivers use a short ethernet cable plugged into the receivers ethernet port and the extra DECA connects to your router via ethernet.

yes i have my swm 8 up and all is working i have 1 deca hooked to my internet
i did not understand i needed a deca unit at each of my receivers
    i think now i understand
the swm lets u use 1 coaxil to each box and the deca lets u run internet through your coaxil to your receivers
