That is the title of the article stating that NFLN will be carrying a lot of their pre season games in HD. They will also be on D* on channel 94, 95, and 96.

I thought Rich Eisen did a game or 2 last season and I thought he did a fine job.

OH NO!!! I just looked on the NFL site and Bryant Bumble is doing the HOF game :nono2:

I just called about the game being a pay per view. The CSR was pretty confused by it but was able to confirm that 1) it's not listed as a pay per view offer in their list of pay per views you can call up and order and 2) there's no mention of it as a pay per view on the DTV online guide (though I didn't check this myself). So, she concluded it must be a mistake.

Do you have to suscribe to ST, or NFL Network or anything to get this? Or is this a regular part of the HD package?

If you have NFL Network on 212 and have the HD Access package, you should get it.

I remember last year at the end of each quarter he was calling them periods. Sorry, but periods are in hockey not the NFL. He should go back to morning television.

You can do what I am planning on doing which is mute the TV/Gumbell and listen to the local Steelers broadcasters on Sirius.

    GO STEELERS!!!

Definitely, but you also get a time delay with DirecTV. I can't imagine that they'd match up, though.

You should be able to pause and stop the game until it syncs up with XM Radio.....I've done this in the past listening to my home team play by play man Merril Reese works great.:D

Sounds good but if you pause your DVR to go to the Kitchen or bathroom you would be way behind the radio broadcast. I saw an ad for a program that allows you to buffer, pause and FF streaming audio which would solve that problem. I'm going to check it out.

If Bryant Mumbel & Butthead Collinsworth are calling the game, I'm watching on mute. Two drunks from the cheap seats at The Vet could call a better game than those losers!!

Thank u to the posters regarding the HOF Game showing on channel94! I started watching it in SD and then thought to look here for HD showing. I didn't have channel94 on my Favorites so I guess I will have to add it.

Any other of those HD channel numbers I should add?

Thanks again, much better in HD. HD or Die. :)

The game looks better(on 94) than it did last year on channel 95. But HD still can't help Gumble.

I'm glad I'm not the only one irritated by that commercial.

Thank goodness for this forum. As a newbie to Direct TV and HD, the wife and I were disappointed that the NFL channel was in SD. But I said I would check the forum and I saw the HD feed was on Channel 94. Ahhhh

    :D
