Can someone tell me which satellite the Standard Definition feeds for NFLST are being broadcast, and in which format?

Can an old round 18" dish and an old RCA receiver get these channels?

    Thanks

SD Sunday Ticket channels are beamed from the main 101ºW satellite.

    Thanks guys.

I think you see where I am going with this question. I have a trip planned that will have me out of "civilization" over a weekend.

I have an old dish and my trusty RCA receiver. Add compass, power and TV!

    Thanks again

So the question becomes: If you're roughing it in the wilderness with NFL Sunday Ticket .. are you really roughing it? :p

My idea of roughing it is only having cable where ever I go....I am no nature boy!

How old is your "old RCA Receiver"? Some of the older Receivers no longer have the memory capacity to handle all of DirecTV's channels, and may no longer work for the NFL Sunday Ticket channels.

Correct. My old RCA receiver (installed new in Nov. 1997) could NOT pick up Sunday Ticket channels starting this season.

DirecTV has since swapped out that old receiver for a newer model at no charge to me.

    Good catch guys,

I called D*, and sure enough, my receiver can no longer receive NFLST, so they are sending out a replacement.

    Thanks
