KMG - The information below is from the DIRECTV Website. I have not heard that any changes from 704-705 are in the wind...

    Short Cuts

Tune in to channels 704–705 to see replays of entire games in less than 30 minutes. That's every play, uninterrupted by commercials. So if you missed a game or want to feel the excitement again of a game you already saw, you can tune in Mondays and Tuesdays and catch it with none of stuff you don't want.††

Member kikkenit2 sent me a message advising that the Raiders-Titans and Bengals-Patriot games have had their channel assignments changed this morning. To make it easy - channels 708 and 709 have been reversed. The changes have been made on the DIRECTV website and in the online Guide. Why that change was necessary three days before the games is not obvious.

The online Guide also shows some games for Week #2 as 7xx-1 channels. There are no -1 games this year.

Doesn't look as if the left hand and right hand know what the other is doing...

There are new schedules in Post #1 with this correction included.

ALSO - For the first time, a fifth schedule in the HAST time zone is included. Welcome Hawaii! I'm not sure I would be ready for football at 7:00 am Sunday morning....

    OK, thanks.

I just checked the guide again and the Short Cuts are now showing up on channels 704 and 705. They're also listed for channels 159 and 160 but that doesn't concern me anymore. :)

On a side note, keep in mind that NFL Network usually starts their pre-game at 9am eastern. I've grown to like them more than ESPN NFL Countdown.

The Bucs are the only week 1 blackout.

& just to be clear if they arent in your home market then you still get the game + parts of the game will still be on Redzone everywhere even Tampa.

Oh & Rich Eisen is the new host of the NFLN pregame show @ 9:00am.

The Jaguars...they should cover that entire field with a tarp. Never have I had so much dislike for a team and a fan base. It's one of the major reason I get Sunday Ticket...to watch them lose every chance I get. :D

The San Diego paper this morning is saying the Chargers expect to be blacked out for the season home opener Monday night - they have over 10,000 tickets not yet sold.

My first year with Sunday Ticket. Can't wait to take in the improved Lions this year with no fear of blackouts like when I lived in Michigan. RedZone will be awesome too.

Blackouts due to games not selling out aren't shown on SundayTicket in the home DMA. So if the San Diego home game does not sell out next week, it will be blacked out on our local CBS affiliate and also blacked out (in the San Diego DMA) on SundayTicket.

You're right, the week 2 game. So there is still time, my guess is the game will sell out.
