Don't bother hoping. If you check the guide you'll find that the error has already been discovered and nothing is listed on 779-1.

The schedule on the website is what is listing the 779-1 feed for the game. I mentioned that the guide is not, so most likely its not going to happen. Although the schedule on the website was originally showing the the Sabres MSG HD feed for tonight's game and the guide wasn't. Then the guide started showing it as well, so you never know.

the demand isnt there to add them and directtv doesnt want to lose money on a product that is the lowest priorty among their sports packages

you want them bad enough, add a canadian dish. it isnt that hard

I see that InDemand has just announced that they are showing the ScotiaBank Hockey tonight NHIC pregame show for the next two weeks, October 9th and 16th.

    http://www.tsq.com/alerts/NHLupdate100710.pdf

I suppose it's too much to hope that DirecTV will pick this up as well?

It would be nice if there waas a way for fans to contact DirecTV directly and connect with people in the know who could help with stuff like this. I've learned the hard way that callin is pointless and an email will only provoke a canned response....

Bell also has WGN HD (no blackouts) and they mirror WGN HD to CI as well.

But since you get NFL Sunday Ticket free w/ NHL CI on Starchoice, it's not all that bad.

I am seeing it on both 779-1 and 780-1 on the box's guide. Online gives the same information. Lets hope we start seeing some of these SNET-O in HD with Dual feeds. In case anyone is wondering, I am talking about the Ottawa at Washington game on Monday, October 11th being available in HD.

edit: Strangely, there is no hd broadcast for the Colorado @ Philly game? It is in HD on Altitude, not sure why direct doesn't have it. Makes me think there might be some mistakes in the schedule, and maybe that Ottawa HD feed is too good to be true.

If I remember right, there have been negotiation problems in the past with Altitude HD similar to the MSG HD problems of the last few years and there have been many instances where Altitude HD was showing a game that was only available to the local market and not in CI.

It is showing in my guide on 779-1 now as well. Also, my guide is showing 778-1 is carrying the HD feed for the Avs vs Flyers game on Monday

yes, there have been some guide issues, a lot of greyed out channels in some cases and other things. For a while last night even though I put both SD and HD channels in my setup, there were games that only had HD feeds. Would that all games were available and if only in hD, I would not be disappointed!!!

This would be a nice bonus if Directv picked this feed up. The Senators are only on Sportsnet-East and the new Sportsnet One not on Sportsnet Ontario unless they are playing the Maple Leafs. The Monday October 11th game is a scheduled Sportsnet One (HD) telecast.

The schedule did show that game to be on SNET-OTT. Not familiar with all the Canadian networks, so I thought that was the same as SNET-O. Found this on another board "So what is SNET-OTT? Reply: It will only be active when there is a Sens game (as it will only broadcast regionally in the Sportsnet East area whereas Sportsnet One is a national broadcast)."

Good to know that. I assumed that SNET-OTT, was Sportsnet Ontario. Also, good to see DTV broadcasting some Sportnest One games in HD.

They seem to be sports net one sub feeds.

but look out for 11/7 game is only on sportnet-Oilers / sports net 1 and WGN.
