People that have older HD receivers don't get the sub channels. The only receivers that get them are the HR20 and the H20. Many people are still using the older MPG2 only receivers.

    Same here.

What I don't get though is if they already have most of the FSN-HD channels spot beamed, why can't they get those up and running already and put them on the sub-channels?

Pressing the replay button (HR-20) fixed the jitter for me... strange.

This is interesting. The game on 94 and 767-1 is the HD feed from FSN-South for Nashville, however, if I go to the FSN-S SD feed on 664 is says "not availalbe in your area." However, I'm also getting the Ducks feed of FSN-West/Prime Ticket SD feed on 652 and on 767.

    Not complaining, just interesting.

Edit: ok now the 767-1 HD feed went black on me, 94 is still up though.

OK, something strange going on once again, but this might be a Fox Sports problem rather than DirecTV.

Channel 767-1 is showing a black screen, but it's supposed to be the Preds/Ducks game (FSN Prime Ticket). However, Anaheim's home feed (653) is not in HD even though it's supposed to be (link:http://www.hdsportsguide.com/). Good thing Channel 94 is showing the game in HD (Preds feed).

lol, I didn't catch your message until I posted mine. You are correct except FSN West Prime is supposed to be in HD for the Ducks/Preds game.

Yes, this is true but even the people with the older MPEG2 receivers would still be getting an HD game on channel 94 and those of us with the newer receivers would get both.

Here's what I'm seeing: Channel 94 HD feed is FSN South. 767 SD feed is Prime Ticket. 767-1 HD feed is...a black screen.

Yeah I don't get why they don't just put the 94 HD feed up on 767-1. It was working at the start of the game though.

    Man that sucks.

But you're in CA, couldn't you have recorded it off of 652? Or is that not your local RSN?

I am so glad that noone in my family likes sports. The regulations and rules and everything just does not make sense to me. But then I am rather passionate about my reading, so I could talk a long time about that too.

I hope you guys get the HD programming you are wanting, I truly do!~

I live in Northern CA -- so my RSN is FSNBA. I thought 767-1 would be the HD feed regardless of where it was (Preds or Ducks)... I was able to tune to Ch 94 and catch the 3rd period with the Nash HD feed... but still... D* has some kinks to work out...:nono2:

The quote from the NHL VP of Marketing above didn't convince you otherwise??? I'm sorry -- its not "written proof"!!!

Seriously, as described here it would be EASIER to show all the feeds made available vs. pick and choose. Again, I believe either D*TV is either being ignorant/dumb (my vote!), is too focused on adding HD channels no one cares about, or there are bandwith issues (doubt it). Its refuse to believe this ruse its because of "different" contracts with the NHL -- if so, WHY did we get the games in the 90's last year and less so far this year????

+1!! Let common sense and logic rule!!!! This ruse about different contracts IS insulting...looks like its time to "complain" and get a discount on CI again this year...;)

Important questions!! (I am a CI and HD subscriber). Was the Devils/Pens game available in HD outside the NYC area on CI? Assuming yes, was the feed FSNY or a Pitts. feed? Also, was it on 764-1 AND 94 or only one or the other? (Wasn't available to me in NYC area due to blackout and FSNYHD is NOT available locally on D* -- watched it on cable though in HD!!! ;) )

Also, I purposefully tuned into the Preds/Ducks game at 10PM Eastern time because it was in the guide under the sub-channel as HD...got the "blank screen" also -- didn't think to check 94!!

In summary, why can't D*TV get this right!!!! :nono2:  :nono:
