So....what do you thimk she will get you for XMAS.......
Of at least H quality.
Me too, my post count has really picked up since I recently changed jobs.
I heard that.... I don't even have a computer at home, all day on one here at the office.....
I've had my Panny TH-50PZ700U since June and can't give it enough praise. She got you a great set. Everyone that comes over for Sunday Ticket is envious of my set, a couple have even gone out and bought it or the 42" version. The built in speakers are so good also for a Plasma set.
If anyone is still on the fence about a HD set purchase definately look at the Panny 1080p Plasma line. There's the pz700 series and the pz77 series that has cheaper speakers.
Christmas gift.... I have no idea. Will be hard to top, but I am not complaining. Still have to solve the Million Dollar Question: HD DVD or Blu Ray to take advantage of the full 1080p!
HD DVD. Walmart will be having the 1080i versions on sale with between 10-12 free movies. Easy way to get your movie total up and then purchase the 1080P version elsewhere.
BB has current special where get 8 movies with Toshiba. Two models to select....
Congrats on the gift of the panny.
Now from the female point of view on the diamond ...... A beautiful 2 ct center stone, shape of your choice, F/G, VVS or better would definitely make her a happy woman in love .....
OUCH! But I guess it was a 50" plasma.
I don't know that is almost getting one 50" plasma and giving back ten 50" plasmas in return
I was able to buy a Toshiba D3 HD DVD player from Costco for $159 on Black Friday. The price seems to have gone up lately. I would not spend more on a 1080p player yet because the 50" Panny does an excellent job deinterlacing from 1080i to 1080p itself.
Once you see an HDDVD movie on your set, you might just willingly buy her the 2 ct diamond, that is how mesmerizing it is.
My birthday was 2 weeks ago.
I got a birthday card from my wife (but no gift).
I think I'm getting an ethernet switcher for xmas (but no card).
God.. You are lucky, seriously. I only wish my wife would surprise me with something like that. Infact on our first anniversary she bought me a SWIFFER Wet-Jet. (Yeah not good.)
I'd wait to see if she pays next months subscription bill before I got too carried away with this whole marriage thing...
If she really loved you, she would have bought you a Kuro.
That's what happens when they become "wives."
Go HD DVD, that way you'll be able to purchase some "adult" *cough* HD DVDs for those special "pay back nights".
I've had my Panny TH-50PZ700U for a while.. fantastic picture. A couple months ago Consumer Reports magazine front cover stated.. "The best HD picture we've ever tested". It was the Panny TH-50PZ700U.
She saved you money by buying the set... get both! The format war is not going to end anytime soon.
In my opinion I have the 2 best players connected to my Panny, the new Toshiba HD-A35 1080p HD DVD Player with all the bangs and whistles, and the new Panny DMP-BD30 1080p Blu-Ray player... The Panny Blu-Ray does all the audio formats (even HD-DTS Master) and is the only 1.1 Blu-Ray player on the market at this time. Both have great Pic quality.
I agree that it is a great TV, but for one thing, it draws over 700 watts of power!
