Customer service just told me that the SWM16 has changed to only require one wire from the dish now. I stated I thought this was incorrect and the support rep went away and called an installer who confirmed it (allegedly). Can someone else confirm this?

I think the CSRs need a course on how to listen. It's obvious that the CSR hearing SWM assumed that it was the number of lines from the dish. Didn't hear the "16" part of SWM16. The CSR then compounded the error by asking the installer what was "heard'.

SWM-16s are still pretty rare in residential installs, believe it or not.
