Interesting...could also be a bad HR21. The receiver is what "requests" the sat by tone/voltage, the WB68 is just a passive switching device.

Could be. Except the Tivo R10 it replaced also couldn't pull in 72.5.

Yeah, that's what has me scratching my head

Are you sure there isn't a splitter or diplexor on either of the HR21 lines? One last shot might be to put the HR in place of an SD box (and configure for single tuner.)

They're all home runs back to the multiswitch.

I really think it's the WB68. I had problems getting the locals back on one of the SD boxes today. Had to run the setup a couple times to get it to work.

That's definitely a good clue! I think you've got it pegged.

Just wanted to followup and let everyone know what happened. The truck roll just left. The technician was very thorough.

He rewired the entire multiswitch area, put in grounding blocks, new cable ends, replaced the multiswitch and it turns out...the LNB on the 72.5 local dish was bad. It was putting out a weak signal that some of the boxes could see, just not mine.

I'm actually all back up and running with all dishes being detected (see picture below!). My Tivo R10 is working again...I think I'm going to send back the R16.

Unless your a diehard tivo guy, I'd take the R16.

That R10 may be getting a tad long in the tooth.

I'd take the R16, too...and let go of the R10, before it fails.

If you love the R10 that much...send me the R16...and I'll send you my R10 for a spare! ;)
