    Great...
CSR said it was dropped 12/31. I googled it with no luck. Searched here, no luck. [ ch 245]

    Perhaps James L. knows?

    Very disappointed.

No notification from Dish whatsoever. The channel is just gone.:(

Currently the only carrier for this channel is AT&T U-Verse.

All I know was in the Uplink Activity ... the channel is "not available". No slate, no further information.

    Great...
Is this a new thing for Dish? No notification on channel in guide like "other" channels that have been dropped over the years?

I find this unprofessional. Shame on Dish, if they thought no one would notice.

I can't say they never dropped a channel without a slate ... but I can't say that I'd even know about most channel drops and adds without seeing Uplink Activity or posts on our site.

Was FidoTV one of those channels paying for carriage like Newsmax or Gemporia did before they left? If so, they probably do the same thing DirecTV and some cable companies do when it comes to those channels, treat it as if it's an infomercial channel that comes and goes every few months when they decide to stop paying.

    That's a distinct possibility.
