Can't say it's a huge surprise; the show was way too crowded but it looks like Keith Olbermann is out on NBC's Football Night in America.

I liked Olbermann in the olden days at ESPN... but really, the main problem is that they have way too many people in their cast on that show.

I miss Collinsworth actually, since he moved to the broadcast booth... but they really don't need a half dozen guys in there for the discussions.

The old "Prime Time" on ESPN did fine with Tom Jackson and Chris Berman. I'm even fine with the 5-man team (adding Coach Ditka, Chris Carter, & Keyshawn) they have now...

but Sunday Night in America had too many people for the way they were working that show.

I stopped watching the pre-game and half time shows because he was on. Now that he's gone, I'll start watching them again.

Woot! His snide attitude was annoying. Now I can watch it again. :)

Olbermann lost me when he was the 10pm sports anchor for KTLA 5 in Los Angeles. I'm sorry but political commentary has no business in the middle of college football scores.

I think his politcal views made it harder to watch him doing football. He was great when he was on ESPN but then he started to take him self too seriously I felt. Plus, the whole set was just way too crowded, DP and Costas with one ex player would be fine with me. I am guessing Mike Florio may get a bigger role this upcoming year....I guess we'll see starting Sunday night.
