Here in town, we have the Columbus Sports Channel, which I'm guessing will never be picked up by D*. Fine. But, My HR20 doesn't see it either, and it's broadcast OTA (as well as some local cablecos). Am I pretty much SOL on this, since D* doesn't probabl even know about it, or is there a way I can tell it to look for Channel 32 OTA?

CSN currently broadcasts an NTSC (analog) signal, so the HR20 is not going to be able to tune it.

Doesn't list anythign for Columbus Sports for my address, but does list several 60 mile + stations. I think they must not have it listed yet, it's only 1 month old.

Well, my original questions, sorts, is, if D* doesn't know about an OTA station, is there any way to get the HR20 to try to pick it up? It doesn't show in the guide, I can't enter the number manually, etc. If it's a reception problem, I can handle that, but I'm not even to that point yet.

    No, no, & no.
The D* database needs to know of the channel.
There is no way to add it without it first being in the database.
Logging it on the link I posted is about the only thing to do [and then wait for D*].
Of course this will only work if it a ATSC and not NTSC channel.

FCC database, the bottom of their home page and their Wikipedia article. If you read the home page, the HD version is only available on Insight.

Once I figured out what the correct name of the organization was, it was easy.
